"If good poetry is to be written, enormous amounts of bad poetry must be written too, if only because it is important for a serious poet to know what it is she/he is trying not to do." Germaine Greer

~Ok, so I hasten to accomplish getting all the old stuff up (poems), either featured or scrapped. Some I look back through and cringe,-wait, I think Grant said something similar not too long ago as to his old work as well, but then we understand the basics- even knowing that was junior high and high school, when I rhymed more, when my subject matter was more grim and by some of it you'd grow an image in your mind of a mid-late 90's goth girl which isn't right at all. My eclectic brain said more than my clothing then as it does now. Also getting to the early 20's stuff, doing a little editing here and there, though not sure how much that will help the bad ones. I will attempt this as quickly as possible and leave appropriate comments on my, perhaps, mental state or ideal at that time and my current expression towards them.

I'll look forward to seeing them. It was very odd for me, when I started on dA and had a handful of new poems mixed in with all my old angsty stuff from perhaps 20 years before. But I'm glad I took the time to post it all. It was a cathartic experience, to be sure, but I think it helped me sort out a lot from that earlier time in my life.
